Biography
Colleen McGahan, a partner with the firm, is a graduate of Saint Joseph’s University (B.A., 2002) (M.S., 2003) and Rutgers-Camden School of Law (J.D., 2009). While in law school, in addition to working full time as a certified criminal intelligence analyst for the Middle Atlantic-Great Lakes Organized Crime Law Enforcement Network, Miss McGahan also performed a Judicial Externship for the Honorable Jack M. Sabatino, J.A.D., in the Appellate Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey.
Prior to joining Coogan, Smith, Attorney McGahan served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Richard F. Wells, J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey.
Attorney McGahan is licensed to practice in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is a member of the Massachusetts, Bristol County and Attleboro Bar Associations (past President), as well as the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys. Attorney McGahan serves on the board of the North Attleboro/Plainville Rotary Club (past president), the Attleboro YMCA, North Attleboro Scholarship Foundation, and Attleboro Scholarship Foundation Foundation. She is also a member of the Sturdy Memorial Hospital Foundation.
While in college, Attorney McGahan was a three year captain of the St. Joseph’s University women’s basketball team.
